Talk Description

The fundamental way we think about giving and charity is undergoing a revolution, yet our nonprofits, foundations, and governments have not shifted to accommodate larger societal changes in how we sustain a world built around helping others. To meet the challenge of creating a just and caring society, we must rewire our approach to making good happen – this needs to come from the ground up and through a paradigm shift around the very identify of what is means to be a donor as well as how to support donors. Drawing on industry leading research in giving, this talk will give a concrete focus on how we can combine technology with face to face community building to create the change we want to see in the world in both our organizations as well as our personal lives.
